Another medical needs dog has made his way to us, and we're glad he did! This little guy was trying to survive on the road. We are grateful for the help he was given while out there. His first stop was to Joanna Gonzales who gave him food and water plus flea and tick meds for the gigantic ticks all over him. She gave him the name Frank the Tank. But,he moved on. Perhaps searching for his former owner. Diane Sibille gave him water when she encountered him on the road. She didn't have any food with her. She tried to get him in her car, but he refused. Finally, he showed up at the rural residence of Colleen Carter and Bill Cull. They hosted him for four days. Then we were asked us to help. They were kind enough to bring him to us.
Frank has multiple medical issues which we are addressing. He is a good boy and loves attention. We hope to get him all healed up and ready for a forever home as soon as possible. He's a little short, but stout, charmer. How could anyone not fall in love with him, especially with such a great name. Frank the Tank will be available for adoption when we get him healed up and ready for a family of his own.
Frank on the road in the heat.
Both of Frank's eyes are infected with some scarring that may limit his vision.
Both of Frank's ears are infected that no doubt caused pain and suffering.
A mass on his cheek has become an abcess. It has been opened and drained.
All of these things haven't dulled Frank's spirit. He's a happy little guy and is grateful to have care. His tail never stops wagging. His eyes are looking and feeling better with the medications applied several times daily. Don't forget about him. He will be available in about a month.
