We love to have dogs adopted into Forever Homes, but we occasionally find some that aren't suitable for adoption - either because of health, or a behavioral reason. When they arrive, we assess them to see how best to accommodate each individual. We love to include them into our core group that live as our family pets.
They have the run of most of the property, and their own room with a doggy door to come and go whenever they want. The room has supplemental cooling in the Summer, as well as heat in the Winter. There are many beds and feeders.
They love romping around the sanctuary - climbing on the gravel pile & hay trailer, chasing each other, and playing with toys.
much to our dismay, they also love digging holes in the yard looking for gophers and squirrels.
We share our house with many disabled dogs of all ages and sizes. They have doggy doors to their own outdoor area. for the most part, we live in THEIR home. Our lives revolve around their needs and care.
We love happy dogs!

Along with providing such a wonderful sanctuary, Bones Rescue has brought the Spay and Neuter Clinic to the valley for many years providing free services in the hope to control the over population that persists in our valley . The list goes on and on in terms of how Bones has helped our community. Please donate whatever you can to Bones Rescue and equally important , Spay / Neuter your animals.
